Piwapisk Industries brings together Indigenous ownership, workforce development, and economic participation with established industrial manufacturing and construction expertise through a 51/49 partnership between Kahkewistahaw First Nation and Preferred Energy Inc., with George Gordon Developments Ltd. as a strategic Indigenous business partner.
Piwapisk Industries operates from 50,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing facilities in Melville, SK, providing the capacity to manufacture, fabricate, and execute complete industrial projects across Saskatchewan, North America, and beyond.

The Melville Shops
Owned by Kahkewistahaw First Nation, the Melville Shops are home to Piwapisk Industries’ manufacturing operations.
With approximately 50,000 sq. ft. of industrial space, the facility provides the capacity for large-scale fabrication, modular manufacturing, structural steel, pressure piping, and complete industrial project solutions.
Located in Melville, Saskatchewan, the shops serve as a key hub for Indigenous-led industrial growth, skilled employment, and project delivery across Saskatchewan and beyond.
